JOHANNESBURG – INTELO, the technology firm, is transforming how South African municipalities and organisations approach artificial intelligence (AI) and data transformation.

This is through tailored, modular solutions.

Celine Thungaveloo, Chief Sales Officer at the company, said in today’s fast-paced digital landscape, agility is not optional but non-negotiable.

Intelo supports more than 80 local municipalities through managed infrastructure and information and communications technology (ICT) services.

The company reports it has performed more than 1 400 restore tests over 2 700 protected endpoints in one quarter.

“We’re not in the business of selling products. We are here to solve business problems with smart technology,” Thungaveloo said.

The official said by aligning technology with each client’s unique data, environment, and long-term goals, they delivered outcomes that cannot come at the cost of security or compliance.

“That’s why Intelo’s approach is designed specifically to operate within existing environments, keeping data local and businesses firmly in control,” she said.

Intelo’s approach prioritises agility and security.

AI, analytics, and automation are designed to operate inside existing environments which ensures data remains local.

This removes the risk of migration while ensuring full control remains with the business.

“We believe the smartest technology is the kind that works quietly in the background, strengthening your business without adding complexity,” Thungaveloo added.

Hence the company builds intelligence directly into the core of infrastructure, integration and security.

“It’s a future-ready approach that grows with you and keeps you ahead,” Thungaveloo said.

Intelo is a service provider to the financial services, security and municipal sectors.

It is an A Level  Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) contributor.
