JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – MCDONALD’S South Africa has welcomed local stakeholders in the Free State for an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience as part of its Open Doors initiative.

The tour, which included the media, took place at Bloemfontein’s Fleurdal and Kimberley’s North Cape Malls.

It offered guests a look at how food is prepared freshly and safely – maintaining high quality standards through rigorously defined design, implementation and adherence to processes.

Daniel Padiachy, Chief Marketing Officer for McDonald’s South Africa, explained that the Open Doors initiative was about building trust by showing exactly what goes into serving every meal at McDonald’s.

“We are proud to source high-quality ingredients locally, support South
African farmers, and uphold global standards of safety and quality,” the executive said.

“By inviting stakeholders into our kitchens, we reaffirm not just our
commitment to food excellence, but also to being a responsible and transparent brand that South Africans can continue to rely on.”
