Of course, this can also just be an American author so it isn’t the be-and-end all of spotting AI content generation, but it is something to be mindful of if you are generating content for your own company.
The first major tell that I get before I look closely at all is the desire that ChatGPT has to wrap up and conclude articles very definitively, often with a “Conclusion” title as above or the last paragraph will start with the phrase “in conclusion.” Beyond this ChatGPT is unable to form opinions or express things emotively, you’ll find that whenever you generate a piece via AI or read one it will often be emotionless and flat. It reads more like a research piece, and this is because all the AI is able to do is rehash what already exists. This further leads AI to sound repetitive, rehashing key phrases. Not above how every point will read “black and white …” there is no variety in how the phrase black and white is presented nor in how the comparisons are made.
